Colindale's tallest new building will shape a new skyline for the area.
TNQ, in Capitol Way, Colindale, will be made up of five buildings - one of which is 17 stories tall and holds 18 flats.
Now almost completed, the project was commissioned as part of a regeneration project after the Edgware Road area was named as one of four ‘corridors of change’ in the area.
As part of the scheme, local services, transport links and green spaces will also be improved.
Joe Crawley, managing director of NEAT Developments, said: “This marks an important stage in the construction of TNQ and a milestone for Colindale.
“Colindale is an area undergoing extensive regeneration, with TNQ at the forefront, helping shape a new skyline for the area.”
Its final phase of building work was marked with a topping out ceremony on site, attended by NEAT Developments, Royal London Asset Management and building firm Shepherd.
Steve Collins, executive director of operations at Shepherd Construction, said: “This high-profile project has seen almost 800,000 man hours spent in construction with around 500 people on site each day working hard to get to this crucial stage.
“The journey so far has not been without its challenges, with one of the worst winters in six decades last year severely restricting movements on site. We stand today, however, with progress firmly on track and concrete frames for each block completed and fit out underway.”
