A large lorry burst into flames on the busy motorway during rush hour this morning.
The HGV caught fire on the hard shoulder of the clockwise carriageway between junction 23 (South Mimms) and 24 (Potters Bar) of the M25.
Police say the road will be closed for “some time” and motorists can expect traffic delays in the area throughout the day.
Drivers travelling anti-clockwise are also warned to expect delays.
