Firefighters are tackling a blaze in Potters Bar after a bale of hay caught alight.
Bakers Street is closed between the Dancers Hill Road junction and the Sawyers Lane junction after fire broke out at around 2.30am.
Traffic on the M25, between junctions 23 and 24, is at a standstill as smoke blows across the motorway.
