Building work on a major new housing development in Mill Hill is due to start this week.
Countryside Properties and Annington Developments are holding a ground breaking ceremony to mark the start of the first phase of the project at the former Inglis Barracks on Thursday.
A total of 2,174 homes, as well as a new primary school and community facilities, are due to be built in 11 phases at the Drew Avenue site, off Bittacy Hill.
The first phase at The Mount, involves the building of 133 new homes.
The development includes one and two-bedroom flats and three and four-bedroom luxury houses.
