A woman and a baby boy are both in a stable condition after a car collided with them on a zebra crossing in Finchley.
The woman, who is in her twenties, was crossing East End Road near Avenue House with the child in a pushchair at approximately 6.20pm last Friday when the incident happened.
The driver of the car, a man in his 70s, stopped at the scene while onlookers quickly rushed to try and help.
The woman and baby boy, who is approximately 18 months old, were taken to an east London hospital where the woman was in a critical condition.
The pair, who are not related, remain in hospital but police have confirmed they are now both in a stable condition.
