An eco-friendly hearse earned a funeral director’s recognition at an industry awards ceremony.
Family-owned Leverton and Sons, which has a branch in Golders Green, scooped the Green Funeral Director of the Year award for its electric funeral car.
The vehicle, a converted Nissan Leaf that can travel 120 miles on one £3 electrical charge, was recognised by judges at the Good Funeral Awards in Bournemouth as the “star of the show”.
